What is your favorite fish? Saltwater or Freshwater.

I would have to say, the purple tang. I love their gorgeous color and their tank habits. They love to zip around the tank, through gaps in rocks, around the back, back out front, eating bay scallops right out of your fingers. I'm very partial to clownfish too, but that's to be expected.

Tie between my Moorish Idol and a long nose hawkfish. I just love the way the hawkfish perches and forages for copepods.

Sailfin tang. It is pretty cool to watch him spread out and block other fish from going where they originally wanted to go. It loves to stop at full speed infront of the Hippo Tang. I refer to him as a street light the tells the other fish when they can and cannot swim :)

Tough question to answer. It's like picking your favorite child.

But in the spirit of the post it's a toss-up between my sailfin tang (Liberty) & my valentini puffer (Peter). Mind you my falco hawkfish (Gonzo) always puts a smile on my face.....he looks totally "wacko" :)

    See what I mean ?

Does it have to be a fish in your tank??? cause im presently fishless.........

If its not in tank fish its a toss up between a powder blue tang or ondulated trigger.

    Imperator angel

The emperor angle wins in my book. Super attentive to people, very active, and constantly foraging for pods and other food stuff...not to mention incredibly gorgeous.
