The icecap e ballast running xm10000k's will make a very nice white light, and supplementing that with t5ho in the future will make it look very nice.

I use a magnetic ballast on my xm10ks, and they put out a slightly yellowish tint. I am not fond of that tint, but once I switch to electronic ballasts that will turn to a very white light. A friend of mine had and Iceacap e balalst on his xm10,00ks and another different e ballast on the other 10k xm on his 120. it looked great. When the other brand ballast failed, he go two new e ballasts (popular brand cant recall the name), the same xm bulbs had the same bright white light to them as before.

Note the chart that was provided before on PAR tests. That xm 10k with an e ballast makes 526 PAR. Only the iwasaki outdoes it. Bear in mind that iwasaki looks yucky. They grow great under that iwasaki, but colors are not great. Coral farms love the iwasaki as it lasts a long time, like over 2 years with no issues.

Those reflectors shown above probably won't fit on your tank. You can get reflectors that are as good, for less $$. Take a look at my tank build thread if you have not seen it already. At the end I have my new SE pendants.
