    yeah as soon as it attaches, you remove the string. some of mine slid out, but if it doesnt, just snip it on both sides. it will just grow around.

    ok...I like that idea better than gluing it...I don't know, perhaps because I've never used glues or epoxy, something about it just seems unnatural to me...then again, I've never really been in a position where I needed to use it...seems to work for everyone though. And I don't I'll be piercing it either, I'll just tie it down...but, back to my stem question...any idea if it will grow back?

    super glue gel works real well but when the stem has fallen off, this is the only way and yeah it will grow back. no worries

    softies I use wedding vail or vale.... sps I use the sandwich method which is super glue expoy then more superglue works like a champ for me. lps i toss on the floor
