    Some years ago I had a large channel cat tear up a large Oscar; he lost most all of his scales and could not stay upright in the water. My LFS expert said to fill up a pail with pure bleach and drop him in and he would die quickly.... He thrashed around in the bleach a good 5 minutes before he finally died and this was absolutely horrible AND the worse advice I ever received from a LFS!!
    Didn't have the www then, but wish I knew about the clove oil!!
    Painless and stress free for the creature AND us should be the only way we ever do this when we have to do it!

    Well there was a yoyo loach in the tank when it started appearing.... He's out now but could that be it?
