My room is about 12x5 but there is a bathroom right next to it that I am going to add into the fish room by knocking out the wall. The main problem you will have is getting water to the other end of the tank. You going with a Ocean Motion valve?

    Otty,

I'm considering using the 4 leg Ocean Motion valve, but want to know how well it has worked out for you. For pumps I think that 2 of the Reeflo Sequence 3600 gph pumps would be a good start.

If I do use the 4-way OMV, I'm thinking that two of the legs could come up through the live rock as a post to support them and be topped with the rotations series 14 with down point nozzles. Oceans Motions.

    Progress report

    Drain/catch tank has been installed.

The backhoe has come and gone, we now have a 55g drum burried in a 4' wide, 7' long, 6' deep hole filled with drain rock and covered with drain cloth...

It will be used for the sink, floor drain, and roof run off. The next step is framing... We'll see what the weekend brings.

The roof is on, the siding had to be painted inside as Washington's winter rain has begun...

Hey dude, where 'outside of Seattle' do you live. I grew up in Bellevue.

I would go with a bigger pump because 3,600gph won't be nothing in a tank that large. I would move up to the HammerHead from Reeflo it produces 5,800 gph with 1.5" inlet and outlet.

Nice to see things coming along for you. Keep us all informed with some pics. :)
