    I mounted them 10" and put zoo med cooling fans on the tank to help blow away the heat. My tank temp is 79 at night and 80.3 daytime after lights have been on for hours. 80.5 is the max it has ever been. I keep my house at 74-75 degrees. I love the halides bro.
