I was able to trade my angelfish that kept having battles with my Maroon Clown for these two cool engineer gobies. They have been in the tank two weeks now made their home and are happy little fish. Its cool because when you go up to the tank you can have a staring contest with them. They always win since they don't blink.

That's what drew me to them. I always wanted an eel and these are the next best thing. I will say they love to make tunnels. In my case the rock was in before the sand so I'm ok with that. Watching them swim is cool too.

LA says 1' . It's the fastest growing fish I've ever had. The little 2 inchers in the stores will be 8" within a year.

+1 to what Av8Bluewater said. I had a friend that bought one relatively small and in under a year that thing grew like a weed and that was only in a 75 so I could only imagine that they will get bigger in a 125. Then again his engineer goby pretty much moved all the crushed coral in the tank to how he liked :bouncylau

They are really cool. Have thought about another, myself. The only special requirement I can think of is make sure your rockwork is stable and secure. IMOPE, they never stop digging.
