    Have you look for someone giving away a glass table top ( non- tempered ) We see them on CL all the time this maybe the cheapest way.

    However we have taken a damaged tank to a local glass shop and had them replace my 90 ga 5/16 rear glass for 40.00 bucks that was installed.
