Its a piece of LR. the lights are an old fixture from the kitchen that happen to be PCs theyer 3 30 watt bulbs as far as skimmer goes you i wouldnt put it in there unless youve got space befor the fuge area ,cause itll chew up any pods on thier way to your tank

In my opinion there should be no mechicanical type filteration (protien skimmer, sand filter,uv ) in the fuge and nothing after the fuge if you can help it. Seeing as you are mounting fuge over the tank I would just let it return to the tank by itself. Those of us who mount it under the tank have to use a pump to return it and the critters get beat up that way

sorry i can't post a pic yet, nugio because my camera is all screwed up so I need a new one. does it have to be LR that they grow on. What do u guys have in your refugiums like critters. What do u have in the bottom of your refugium. Sand or mud or something else.

It doesnt have to be LR thats just what it came on. the 2100 will be plenty you might have to throttle it back some cause you want a slow flow throug the fuge
as for critters ive got snails.

Dont worry ;)Itll be alright once the flow is going up you can back it off [smiley=laughingsmiley.gif]
300gph is the norm for a fuge. so about half throttle
