    Just my 2 cents...

I don't like running an ecoBAK reactor inline after (or before) a GAC reactor. I'm concerned about fines from GAC plugging the pores of ecoBAK and you can't run GAC after ecoBAK because the GAC will get plugged with biomass.

Other than that, looks like a GREAT project!!

    Hey Jon!

The Biopellet reactor will be parallel to the GAC reactor. This means there will be three lines coming directly off the pump (BP, GAC and Skimmer). My goal was to keep the GAC and BP separate but still run off the same pump.

But now that I want to do a recirculating BP mod I won't be able to run the carbon on the same pump.

I'll see if I can find it, I was watching a few videos on YouTube and came across LA Reef, they talked to a guy that makes a recirculating reactor.

Honestly the main reason I would like to do the Recirculating reactor is for added protection on such small water volume.

Found them! Please be aware they are really ANNOYING! But it has some good info, the two movies are about 40 min in total but do pack some good tips and the Recirculating Reactor.

    Pt1. Start watching @ 5:45

    Pt2.

I can't watch the vids right now because I'm at work. But I will say that I have seen many more videos from LAfishguy with misinformation than with current best in class information.

Scratch the recirculating idea, after talking to Jon I will start out very slow with small amounts and add as needed.

Should have the reactor on Tue, let's all hope it doesn't come damaged this time!
