Yes you are right about my avatar and I have had no issues with sediment with heavy flow. Same with the birdnest no issues with sediment.

If you want sps, that should be your focus. Very difficult to have a mixed reef in a pico, yes it can be done, but most do not last a year IMO.

    You will need a ATO.

In larger systems with much more filtration. Even a biocube 8 has more filtrative power than your tank, which will remove LPS slime and chemical toxins released by the SPS. If you wanna do both Euphyllia and SPS, I'd invest in a skimmer and better filter.

You could try, but in a small tank, you might starve a lps to maintain an sps. Lps is most likely going to grow quicker and then you have the issue with lps aggression, so you will be most likely moving one or the other around to avoid that, corals do not like to be moved, especially sps.

I'd get an intank skimmer, no HOB skimmer is small enough for that tank. Its really SPS only or LPS only, but not both.

im not gonna do in tank, just hang on back i heard those are more efficient most of the time as well. so it can be done keeping them both but its not the easiest task?

HOB skimmer with a pump small enough not to take up half that tank...hmmm....let me know when you find one. Not really, they will fight.
