    There was some blue ones.
I wonder how the 420-470 K would work for supplements.

It would be fun to play around with some of these. USA is due for aquarium spots.

I was curious what the PAR38 meant. Thought maybe something to do with PAR but if anyone was wondering it's the type and size of reflector.

I have seen a led par38 15w at hero led store that give about 1300 lumens, very bright, but not dimmable.
The eagelight par38 looks great and so bright.

BUYER BEWARE Eagle led par 38 lamp

I just got the eagle lamp par 38 led that you are all talking about and its a "No go"
the light gives off 800 lumens at best and is yellow looking.
I have about 12 led lamps from different companys and there all good except this one.
who ever is running this thread must work for the company or is simply the company.
Save your money and time and dont make the same mistake I just made.

Matt Rogers started the thread, he doesnt work for them. He just puts the spotlight on the new tech coming out and thats all he was doing for this unit. as you can see, this thread was started in 2009, so it is quite old. LED tech has come quite far in the last two years.

Aye it sure has and yes at the time I recall I was looking at interesting non-aquarium LEDs out there... I'd use it as a refugium light... then it is not a total waste if it could work for that. Thanks for checking it out all the same...

Thanks Guys for putting the record straight.
it does make for a rather expensive Refugium light, but yes thats about all its worth.
