    The Delaware Valley Reef Club will be hosting our 5th Annual Frag Swap on November 22nd, 2014 at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ.

    Ok explain to me what a Frag swap is about. I can see there will be some vendors and I guess anybody can bring some frags to trade. Is that basically it? If so how do people transport? I would love to go but never been to any swap, conference etc. thank you. Oh and is it worth it to attend if do not bring frags

    Bob I think it's more about getting a lot of people to one location. I've never been to one either but I'm guessing it's more purchase than trade.

    Wow, nice to see so much chatter. Sorry I havent been keeping up on this thread. A frag swap is a place mostly where reefers get together to buy and trade corals. There are also raffles, behind the scenes tour of the aquarium and discounted aquarium admission. Now for the trading of corals that is mostly handled on fragswapper.com but for some reason we are getting no response from them so there is not really a forum to do this. I sell zoas and have a sale/trade on the DVRC sight itself. You can put some water in a ziploc and keep the frag there to transport but keep it warm. There will plenty of vendors selling coral and Mike (ASR) is a good friend of the club and he always has a top spot at our swap.
