    Isn't that filter considered more of a skimmer? Is extra filtration needed when running this?

    Depends on its use. FO, sure. FOWLR, maybe not. Reef system with live rock and a sand bed, nope.

    i have a FOWLR. I guess that is not the filter for me.What do you think about the EHEIM filters?

    SF, just wanted to point out that at this point you are probably more towards a FO tank than a FOWLR tank. You still need to add more live rock IMO.

    Look here Sparky...I need advice on what is coming up. Getting more live rock soon. Is that ok with you, huh? Had to qt what I have because of the ick. Remember? Huh? Love ya Nate!!! lol [smiley=loco.gif]

    If you have liverock than that will take care of your biological filtration. A good skimmer would be better than a canister filter at this point. I would take a look at the Aqua C Remora pro. I think you would be more happy with this than with the CPR

    I agree, the AquaC will be near maintance free, and is hands down the best HO filter around.
