It's been awhile so I figured an update is in order. The reef has had a few bad weeks but all has returned to normal with dosing very accurately and testing. I lost a few acan colonies that I had for years and survived 2 tank moves. It had to be chemistry but the test kits showed nothing. I put the large colony in my wife's tank so it's holding on. I just recently put an acan frag back in the reef and so far so good. Bad thing about putting corals in the wife's tank is she doesn't want to give them back. Lol. It goes t o show that no matter your experience or how long you've had a reef tank, your bound to have a few uphill battles. Here's some pics I just took, the hybrid squamosa is doing great. Happy reefing. 20160530_143903.jpg 20160530_143725.jpg 20160530_143659.jpg 20160529_105017.jpg 20160529_165911.jpg 20160530_143936.jpg

Good luck with them. I'm holding off from a clam until the upgrade. I am 0 for 2 now. Ugh

Probably a good idea. As pristine as your tank is I'm thinking the clams might not have been in good shape. There's signs to look for. Try ORA next time, worth the extra price
