    Your "Reef Saver" rock from BRS is not man made. It was mined from a fossilized coral reef, thats why its called "Reef Saver".

    I would add some of your current "live" rock in with it. I would assume there is very little if anything good on your BRS rock. So adding some of your current rock would only help to move things along.

    But like Cosmo said, you dont need to do anything to it you can just dump it in, it wont make your tank go buck wild on you.
