    Hello everyone.
In preparations for a future build I have decided to try my luck at drilling a 75gal tank I've had sitting around. I purchased it at a dollar a gallon sale but never set it up, and now it's calling me. So I've been looking at plumbing for this 75 with a 40 breeder sump. Who has recommendations on plumbing sizes and drilling diameters. I was looking at using 1.5" pipe, But that seems almost overkill. Also this will not be determined by a return pump. I will get return to "fill the boot."

I would suggest the bean animal approach with a C2C overflow. I have not used this method but will on my next upgrade. Todd Sails has a variation of it on his thread and i am sure he could give you more insight into how it works for him.
