Scroll down to about the middle of the page here at the picture that is referred to as a "Bartholomea annulata":

Yes that would be them, they look just like that. Thank you for link.

A basic but pretty pest anemone. Their numbers are probably not out of control because I feed very sparingly.

Hopefully these pictures are a little better. Bartholomea annulata, I am pretty certain it is a bartholomea anemone of some sort. Attached is also a nice little link with information regarding them if anyone is interested. ADW: Bartholomea annulata: Information

+1 ive had a couple majano nems in a big colony of zoas, and i like them, at one point there were 4, but now only two. Mine are pretty and the zoas dont care and so ive left them for the past few yerars. if you like them keep them!

I'm beginning to wonder if it really is a barthomomea anemone seeing as the anemone referenced in that article, the corkscrew anemone, has 200+ tentacles. Unless there are several species of this particular type anemone?

They don't seem to wreak much havok in a soft coral coral tank but let me tell you, they stung the heck out of my sps corals and my seahorses. They also reproduced like mad in my seahorse tank on account of the feeding requirements for those particular fish.

I agree but I think it is more similar to the annulata than anything I have found so far.

I think it is a barthomoea of some type and that is good enough for me.

As far as majano goes I have seen enough of those to know that while it looks very similar it is not a majano.

As long as it is not spreading or causing problems, they can stay.;D
