I was just wondering how many of you have a nuisance algae problem. I would define it as an amount of algae you personally have a problem with.

I selected Yes. Although things are much better.. I recently recovered from a wicked algea bloom. I now only have a couple fuzzy spots on a couple rocks which the snails will knock down when they find it. Also have a few bubble algea spots that crop up once in a while..

I selected yes, but my problems are pretty much solved. I had "grape" caulepra completely take over my 75g tank. I finally resorted to tearing the setup down and moving most of the rock, corals, and fish to a much smaller system. I lost quite a few Xenia that were attached to the algae, but other than that the tank has bounced back nicely.

I put a ball of cheato in my tank, it took to the rock! Pretty neat. It's a lush deep green. :tongue4:

I voted yes. I had a massive cyno bloom after I upgraded my lighting. It's almost under control now, but I still work at removing the remaining algae 2-3 times a week.
