    I"m sure it's probably present in my tank as I have never quarantined a fish. I have never lost one due to the disease though.

    So i'm guessing you quarrantine all your fishes? if you do you must be enjoying the fruit of your efforts now :) i envy you!

    Yeah, but there are several stages of ich's life, and one is free swimming. Then UV might help, but I agree, it is questionable at best.

    just my blue hippo...and it was like a couple white spots nothing crazy...2 days they were gone once i fed him with garlic and nori and everything else under the sun lol

    Yup, It's in my tank. My yellow tang got it a few months ago luckily it hasn't showed up since.
