Do I need T5 lighting or not?

    i wouldnt add a fish untill you see your ammonia and nitrites hit 0.. somewhat high nitrates are normal for new tanks... a 10% water change helps a ton on those nitrates

    I would hold off on the major lighting. If your tank has been up for less than two weeks, and you are putting all those fish into a tank next Wednesday...sorry to say but you are going to have a very slim chance of success.

    the link saints fan posted is the exact same light my friend has on his sump he loves it so your choice
