    Got my Kent Tech M yesterday (finally) to start my battle with bryopsis... I tested my mag level, read directions. 1mL/gal of water so 20mL/day will raise mag level 18.3ppm (per bottle). Is there anything else that I need to know before I get this started? I read on another thread it's safe to raise between 50-something ppm/day. Also, is everyone sure that this is 100% safe for inverts? Just trying to cover my bases before I start this. I don't want any surprises... TIA!

    I've never heard of people having issues as long as they don't move up too fast.

    +1 You will want to raise it over 1600. Some have even gone as high as 1800. Good luck!8)

    BRS recommends no more than 100ppm per day. I've raised about 75ppm in a day before I never had any issues. However, I've never gone above 1500ppm.
