    Still tweaking around the setting, but its coming along!

    Here is a pic: no optics, with the temporal defusing glass top. It's really crisp, and I LOVE it. Corals are all open too. But without the glass, clowns were freaking out because of the glare shade everywhere. 50/50 60% power.

    These kits make me want to do a project for my tank. Unfortunately, it would cost $2K to do my tank.

    So whats the verdict? When it comes to pure looks and coloring of the tank, are you liking the LEDs better than your previous lighting? If so, what exactly do you like better about it?

    What was your previous lightng anyway?

    Thank you!

    The reason why I wanted this kit was I had only a T5 dual 24w Coralife fixture. I figured that it was time to upgrade the lighting, and I think its better in every way:
    More light. More control. Flexibility in colors. Expandability. Fun to build :) and so on.

    I will post some close up pics of the hanger.
