DIY overflor and return

here are pictures of wier tube, overflow, and return.

 

What paint does anyone recommend that will be safe for the fish.

 

A good quality spray paint will be fine. Just be sure it is fully cured before submerging it. Drying and curing are very different. Warm and dry will cure faster then wet and cold.

Not in a hurry still have to make the stand and decorative box for the sump as it is to big to go under my tank. so it will look like a table next to my tank haha.

 

I have used Krylon Fusion. Good, safe product

Nice job on the intank overflow- just one thing though- Make sure the 'Intank' laqrger outer tube, the one with the funnel on top- IS SEALED AT THE BOTTOM!- I'm sure you knew that though, just my 2 cents.
Also- Is that an air valve in the upper loop to bleed the iar out and get the siphon going? Remember to put water in the bottom loop before trying to start the siphon.

Duly noted, yes the tube is sealed at the bottom.
Yes it is a one way check valve.
I had seen some of your threads bout this.

 

ok having some problems tonight, the siphon keeps breaking and I can not figure out why????? please help

 

At a guess? The check valve is leaking.
