ok, you meant tiny. lol. I suppose you could do this same thing as he wave box, though it will take up quite a bit of space in a 6 gallon tank.

whole concept. I don't get how people make the box have the water line moving and like 5 inches under the DT water line. and I don't know what electronics you need.:-/

This link was provided in the RC thread. It shows the controller opened up and you see the electronics and circuit board.

DIY Wavebox - Taken directly from that link - "Electronics in controller is very simple - oscillator with adjustable frequency."

...I'm not done with this. :)

The controller uses a 555 timer IC to adjust the pulsing action of the flow

    555 timer IC - $1.99 at Radioshack

    Here
, xtm(RC member) created a controller for the pump which creates the wave, but without the need for a wavebox.

The idea is cool, but after seeing several Youtube videos, I don't care too much for the sloshing sound it makes when water splashes into the overflow box.

Lastly, "Oscillator is on 555-timer. Transistor is used to invert the signal for Stream on other end of aquarium. One trimmer is for rough frequency adjustment, potentiometer is for fine adjustment. Other two trimmers are for adjust minimum power for Streams without box."
