Alright, well I installed the plate and the diffuser cone and this is what I got.

First video was with a longer supply hose

I shortened hose and and had to dial it back a bit because it was scrubbing the pellets too much at the bottom. I think the pump isn't producing the amount of flow that's needed. I don't even think its pushing 200gph.

There's also one section that the pellets are only moving a little. Not like the pellets in the video. I can see them move slightly so I know water is moving by them.
What do you think. Is this still not good or is it back to the drawing board.

It does. It would work great if I had a bigger pump. I saw a particle that made it in there and it was just floating around. There is not enough flow. Something is wrong with my pump. I bought it used so that is probably my issue.

Something is definitely wrong. Take the pump apart and have a look. How is it plumbed? With the the watts it draws, and the price for a new one, yes, it's a 1000 gph pump. That's a Mag 9.5... that is a crazy pump to put on a pellet reactor. You should be able to plaster those pellets on the roof.

But I would actually be happy with the lower video, you see them moving. But ya, you can tweek it some more.

That's what I thought. I thought I had enough pump for it. Something is wrong.
I thoroughly cleaned the pump with water and scrubbed it about 2 months ago before it was used for a month mixing salt and before been used a month for I ran it on the reactor.
No vinegar bath. Should I pull it and run it in vinegar? For a day?
