    passed by lowes today and found this, nice little 2" drain strainer that i sanded down to fit in my 1.5" elbows

    what do you guys thing? easier to clog or a good idea?

    Neat idea, never seen that before. Where's the pic of it on the elbow? Lol.

    As far as clogging, it shouldn't be any worse than what mine would be. I drilled pretty small holes in mine, I was worried about clogging but I honestly havent had the system running long enough to tell.

    lol the street elbows i ordered havent come in yet but i tested it on a 1.5 coupling, hoping its the same size, fit really nice. I think what i can do is just not glue the elbow in the bulkheads see if i like the strainer or leave enough room to pull them off

    I didnt glue any of my street ells. I wouldnt recommend it either. Mine works just fine without them glued.

    did you glue the back of the bulkhead?

    My entire plumbing system is glued EXCEPT the 3 street elbows that are the intakes inside of the overflow box.
