    this design is currently under patent.

    I'm not saying your design is patent infringement, but this idea is currently in the process of being patented.

    I actually think he already got the patent. Patents only protect him from someone selling/profiting from the idea. Simply teaching others how to do it themselves is not protected by a patent.

    There also seem to be several stores selling it online already.

    First Amendment all the way. I was gonna buy from Paul cuz I'm no electrical wizard and without visual would have built something that would either have killed me or my tank. You solved that problem ;)

    Have you tested it on any aiptasia yet? I wonder if its any less affective with the negative end so far from the positive?
