Discovery Channel's "Tanked" *LETS DO SOMETHING*

I was just pointing out that flame angels aren't really reefsafe because they are notorious for picking at corals. I know that the tank is massive and multiples are fine...its just that it is hit or miss to get a well behaved one now add multiples you are much more likely to get a bad one. When they do start picking how you gonna heritage out then lol?

Well, I just had my first experience explaining to a customer why they can't do things the way they show on tanked.

Customer: "What do you mean I can't buy all my fish now? On tanked they add the fish 10 minutes after adding water."

Me: **** "ATM spends weeks putting a show together, they have already cultured bacteria and "cured" bio-balls." more was said, but i don't feel like typing it.

Customer: "So, my tank is cycled now."

Me: **** me

Watched the interview with Mr. Saltwater Tank yesterday. Brett seemed somewhat cocky/borderline confrontational, but he had some ok points. Hopefully they will follow through with trying to put a some more content into the 2nd season like he said.

That is an understatement. I could think of a less politically correct phrase.

 

He said that they have over 200 years of fish care experience at 1 minute 50 seconds in the vid?
Sounds like he was bragging, and really cocky.

Completely agree, just trying to keep it PG lol. He is probably the thing I dislike most about that show.

....this whole "reality" thing is just so unreal to me.

 

I don't think he sounded cocky at all. If anything he is just sick of people badmouthing their business and show for being misrepresented by the producers of the show. Also I glad he even said the design of the show wasn't meant to teach people it was designed for the entertainment and to get people interested.
