Making me have second thoughts, what I'll do is take some pictures today so I can get more ID opinions.

Just to reiterrate, the advice everyone is giving here is great. Give things a couple more days and if there is not a noticable reduction, go to work following their advice.

I greatly appreciate everyone's input on this. I will give it till Friday see how it is then. If I see that it gets worst, then I'll go to town on it and do the blackout, Tonight I'll try removing most of it myself and see where that takes me.

For Those that have had Dino, when You stir the sand bed did the the Dino's come back up after a couple of hours??

You stirred your sandbed?? How deep is it? For future reference, stirring your sandbed is not a good idea. VERY dangerous move... One wrong move and you can release toxic substances/gases that will poison your tank

I have a 3 inch sandbed. I did not know that I shouldn't stir it.

Well I just went Rambo on these Dino's ! I just finished Siphoning it all out into a 100 micron sock in my sump. I did it lightly and lost a little sand and tossed it. This is my first attempt at beating Dino's. I'll follow back up tomorrow on it see how that goes.
