So i am due for new metal halides but thinking of making the switch to LEDS before the purchase of new bulbs. I am about at the end of my life span for the current bulbs. Could this be one of the determining factors to these two types of algae? I run GFO and Carbon through the systems, changing them periodically every month. this is a well established tank and just looking for some insight on the matters. Also, my "tank cleansers" were at a bit of a low so i just re stocked on some snails and hermits.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
No I do not believe it would affect Dino, but I guess you will know for sure when you change out the lights.

I found that a complete black out for 3 to 4 days with a couple of other interventions worked for me in my battle with dino.
