Dino Egg Monti, Coloring up (PICS)

    Well I purchased this dino egg montipora from Vivid on 1/2/11. So its been in the tank for almost a month and I thought it would fade in color because it wen from 400 watt MH at Vivid to my 6 x 54 watt T5 fixture. So I assumed it would fade out and look a bit duller. Well i think my tank proved me wrong...

    When first put in the tank.

    Yeah Steve I have had nothing but success with the T5s so far. My buddy has a MH setup on his tank and my sps rival his if not better but shhhhh don't tell him I said that. ;D

    WOW! That's on my wish-list of corals now. :) I really like the corals that have the photo-luminescent pigment..they look so cool under actinics.

    Yeah he really glows compared to my other montis. To answer your question, he is indeed an encrusting monti.

    I kind of screwed up the reply to your question, but he is about halfway up in my tank and has decent flow on him as well.
