Muriatic Acid!

 

Like almost everyone else i those little critters too but I don't think i'm ready to try a troch yet so i got some muriatic acid seems to work well i guess i'll find out in a day or so if i got them with enough acid

50/50 mix of muriatic acid with hot water and zappo, no mo aiptasia!

 

i use lemon juice and a syringe i got from walgreens(should have seen the pharmicists face when i told him what i wanted it for)the lemon juice works wonderful and so far no effect on p.h.

 

also, i had a few right in the middle of a nice rock of zooanthids i shot the aptasias and some of the lemon juice got on surrounding zoos, didn't bother them at all and the aptasias are gone. you just have to make sure that you shoot the aptasias in the trunk or it won't work. and lemon juice is very cheap.so were the syringes.

 

Mine came back after mashing him into the rock! A bad idea cause now hes got friends. so im gonna try the vinegar. hope it works

 

I tried muriatic acid like Craig suggested and my aiptasia are history
