Denitrate coil (how to make? and dose it really work?)

    Now, that question I don't know the answer to. I do know that your Trates are low enough that you will not have to worry about that for awhile.

    By all means no. It would be low for a FOWLR tank and it still a little high. Have you tried Microbacter7? It has worked for me. On a side note. doing 100% water changes will kill some of the bacteria thats on your live rock or sand and then you will be cycling all over again which I am sure you already know. My second guess is you might have a bad test kit? I am also assuming you have been to a LFS and they have either told you your nitrates are at the levels you say they are at or lower/higher. I am looking at all angles.

    well i have a JBL marine test lab. iv seen the coil video too but i hate dosing carbon coz cayno takes over my tank. so im intrested in sulphur.here is the link Reef Depot
    well i will drip it through aragonite sand or dead coral sand so dont hav to worry abt ph. well am i right? and well can i add a clown at these nitrate levels? i just have a chromis.

    I wouldn't if the first one died. I would get a second opinion on your nitrate readings. Are you making your own water or getting it from the LFS?

    They are low for a Sulfur Denitrator, for the time and media it will take to knock that out.

    Trates don't bother the fish. Not at those low levels. Corals like em more under 10. Your fine to add another fish.
