    Chromis are planktivores... They eat out of the water column. They are in the same family but distant and have disimilar habits.Many damsels actually "farm" algae by killing tissue on SPS colonies to let algae grow which they then protect and eat...

    I have heard that the yellow-tail eats bristleworms. If the yellow damsel, eats flatworms, then I am covered. I like damsels. I have three in my 90 still. Cool fish with attitude.

    I had a flatworm problem and my blue damsel ate them I guess....I havent seen any lately....Salifert is good also...alot of people will not let a damsel in their tank...
