    you need MH for this clam? will my t5/pc combo lights work?

    I did a lil reading, I read that they can be put on the sand. Is this true?

    I don't have any experience with clams but have seen tanks that have them several times and they were in the sand. Even Disney's EPCOT has a HUGE aquarium with little displays as you walk around. They have a clam display and the clams were all in the sand. And my LFS has aprox. 6 of them and they are in the sand as well.

    Could have been different kind of clams, Some like the sand, I'm pretty sure T. Crocea likes to be on a rock. But if I can put it on the sand that would be nice lol

    Crocea are rock boring clams so if you put it on the sand, you'll have to put a flat piece of rock (or shell) underneath it.

    Corrected, I don't know much about clams yet. But every time I see one I WANT IT!!! I am waiting until I set my 75 up then I will probably get a maxima.
