I have in a jar a hitch hiker crab named Boris.

    He came on a goniopora.

Please I d this guy for us?

I need to put him somewhere soon and if he is not reef safe its to the Lego tank for him!

Could be a stone crab too. Either way, I would remove him.

    Most definitely not.

I am keeping him in a system by himself.

Would it be safe to assume this was a wild caught coral than?

Not necessarily. He could have hitch-hiked in on another specimen or some live rock and just moved onto the coral at the distributor/LFS/etc.

Most likely, it would be a good resicent for a fuge or sump also.

I think he would turn the fuge into a prison. Haha.

When china lights up (basement sump) I will bring him down to my Lego tank to reside by himself.

I will get him some snails to hunt or something haha.

How big do you think he will get?

If it has plenty of food a good stable environment close to full size whatever it is. I would suspect around 3+".

Lol. Real precise. 3 inches sounds pretty good though.

At the very less he'd make a great meal for a trigger fish if I get one some day
