    The pump on it is a super low wattage (8w?) pump and the venturi is designed for it. I would not remove it.

    I know this thread has died a long time ago, but what thoughts does everyone have on CPR skimmers? I'm thinking of buying the The Bak-Pak 2R+ for my setup.
