The pics aren't the best... I set their frag plugs in the sand in the corner of the tank to help acclimate them to the LEDs for a bit. Unfortunately, this rounded corner of the tank kills attempts at good pictures. They'll eventually find their way onto some rock and better pictures can happen then.

This is them less than 5 minutes into the tank. They've acclimated a bit better over night and even ate last night.

I spot feed 2-3 times a week. I'm still deciding where I want to mount them. These are my first acans. $100 shipped for all 3. I was surprised how quickly they recovered from shipping

Those are lordhowensis species and require low to medium light. They will have their best coloring under lower light levels.

Thanks. I just converted the tank to LEDs, so we'll see if I can make that happen. I think if I leave them around the edges, they should do ok. My RBTA moved under the brightest bulbs in the middle of the unit and has been loving all the light it can grab. I love the first one when just the actinics are on because it becomes very vibrant red and blue. I'm thinking in the next couple days I'll figure out where to place them. I know they grow fast... but how fast is fast? A new head a week? every two weeks?
