Christmas can't come soon enough as 3reef will be test-driving the new Kessil AP700 LED fixture around that time. Inside are a couple of famous Kessil "Dense Matrix Array" LED clusters that are supposed to be stronger than the A360 with new optics as well. Full independent controls of the LEDs and clusters along with WiFi control make the possibilities endless here. Phone apps include a color wheel and there is an acclimation mode that can ramp up over time. A USB port should allow for chaining multiple AP700s or computer connection. Is it Christmas yet?

Looks nice, can't wait to see how it does. That's a powerful unit. Maybe one day a fixture will come along to get me away from my halides;)

Well my review will force me to pull down my halide/T5 so stay tuned. I will be using that handy acclimation mode - that is for sure.

Looking forward to it matt. I've just had such great success with the "old school" lighting if I spend a grand or more I don't want any regrets.

Since you're going to review it, are you then going give it away in a contest? (hint hint)

Seriously though, I must have missed this one. Looks interesting, but an MSRP of 1000 bucks? seems a tad bit pricey given the reputation of competing products it will have to compete with.
How long is it? would you need two for a 6ft tank, or just one?
