    Those are pods.

    Raising decorative shrimp in captivity is very tough to do. if you want to do some reading, there is an awesome thread on another forum about the attempts of raising peppermint shrimp in captivity. It's very long though.

    +1 they are definitely pods. I have a ton in my tank right now but its mostly due to the gha problem i am having either way they are certainly not a bad thing to have. hate to burst your bubble though =(
