exciting.. I want to see..
Ok. I caught a couple of the smaller ones and put them in a shot glass.
Just to recap, I had a breeding pair of CBS in our QT tank that had eggs - nothing else in the tank! No live rock or sand. I noticed all the green eggs on the female gone so I put them back in the main tank and a few weeks later my QT is full of these little things and they are growing well. I am feeding them twice a day with crushed pellets.
Itd be great to see what these turn out. Im not overly convinced that these are mysis, but i dont know if they are boxing shrimp either.
Just keep feeding them and see what they end up being?!
i have one CBS and its doing a great job in cleaning the fish.... if you have that many you should try to sell some of then..... their are quite saught after and if you check some of the website are quite expensive,
I don't want to burst your bubble, but those look a lot like amphipods in the picture, especially the way the tail curls back around...
idk, they look more shrimp like to me but i think its too early to tell...
Have a look at the close ups in this video and see how yours compare.

Thanks for the video link. They do look similar! I will take a couple to my LFS and see what they think - either way its been fun watching them grow and now i have some good fish food if they turn out not to be CBS
I will keep you all posted.
