Corals Not Opening

Do you think that any plants (Shaving Brush, Caluerpa) would help with the nitrates? I might be able to make a refugium out of a 10 gallon as long as it's not too expensive and doesn't require any drilling (I'm not sure if it's tempered glass or not).

 

I could also put them in my DT.

 

Update: The zoas that I bought a while ago still haven't opened up, but still have color on them. I also ordered some zoas online and put them in the tank last night. They have fully opened this morning. I'm starting to think that it's my peppermint shrimp that's keeping the other colony closed. He always seems to be on top of them.

 

I ordered a zoa colony about a month ago and due to stress and what not they are just now opening! So I would give it more time

 

Yep. I'm just waiting lol. It almost looks like there is a clear slime coat on them. Any ideas?
