    Hello Everyone,

I bought a Coralife PC fixture off Craigslist for $75. It has 4 bulbs 2x65w actinic, and 2x65w daylight. Will this be enough to keep any kind of coral or should I upgrade to T5 or MH?

    Thanks in advance!

That should be ok for all lower light corals, actually. Zoas, mushrooms, ricordeas, soft corals, & lower light LPS should all do fine. I had a 105W PC bulb over my 28 nano, and it grew all of the above just fine. As long as the bulbs are newer, I would run it for now and keep your eye out for a quality 4', 4 bulb T5 fixture :)

An alternate would be two of the Reef Breeders Value fixture, if you are interested in LEDs.

I'm definitely interested in LED for the power savings and less heat output, I'll have to look into that thanks.
