    What type of coral is this? The guy that works at the LFS gave it to me but i forgot what it is. It is in bad condition since he frag it from his tank and put it in the store's tank.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    All I can tell from the image is perhaps it's a large polyp stony coral, could be a mushroom.....an invert such as an anemone.

    I would post an image after it is in the display, once the lights are on for few hours.

    kinda looks like a type of Xenia to me "atleast from the pictures"
    Is it a soft coral or a hard coral?

    Looks like my skeleton-less bubble coral that has it's feeding tentacles out.
