    Price for the camera or the flash? Flash is about $600

    This is the little brother of the above camera (we're gonna get this one too because we qualify for a rebate that makes it only cost about $200)

    Lenses are interchangeable between the 2. The hubby says both are good....the Rebel may be more in line with what you were looking for in the cybershot, but better. For the camera and lens you're looking at about $900 new, it can take a macro lens, it can take fast speed shots to a lesser degree tho than the 20D

    He also said, if you are looking for a camera to use underwater, to check this site for underwater cases and what cameras fit them. He would not use the 2 ones mentioned here already

    Oh yeah, and because they are SLR cameras, you cannot view your subject through the LCD, it must be through the lviewfinders. ;D

    I git my new Fugi Finepix 7000s today. What a sweet camera. Gonna take a while to learn to use this one.

    I can;t believe you got the 20D I thought I told you that was MY DREAM. :)

    That a sweet camera BL I'm soo jealous.  Now I'll have to save my pennys for the EOS 1D  (Ya right)

    The hubby went and independently got it on his own. Little did I know.....$$$$$ cha ching

    Well, at least I am getting the Rebel :D

    I don't have any clue how to use his camera at all! I'll have him take some pics for me to post ;) :D

    We also have a decent telescope and hope to use it on that as well! 8)

    AHHHH $600 for the FLASH holy moly.....is it really required for macro lol??
