Awesome pictures! May I give you a tip? Bump the ISO to 800 or even higher, just to see what happens. Then go from one end of the f-stop scale to the other, If you have a button that kinda looks like "+/-" play around with that too. I'm sure you've been doing all this but just take a hundred pics in a hundred different combinations. Good luck and keep the pics coming! :D

looks like you got it down steve.... Amazing what a tripod can do.

I recently got a monopod for christmas. It has helped with focusing on coral and area shots of my tank.

Crazy how we will buy a camera or upgrade just for our tanks :D

    Thanks John
Its amazing just how much I must have moved when holding the camera
I would say over half the shots I used to take where so blurred, they never reached photobucket, my wasted images now are a lot less

    Thank you Incognito

    thanks Zoanthids
ISO I believe is related to the speed of the subject you want to capture
so for sporting events or taking images of moving vehicles a high ISO is required, but for static images you dont need it, so I found out
and yes mine is a simple P and S canon camera

Thanks barbianj - without doubt, since Christmas I think I have taken more images in 1 week, than I did the previous month

I will certainly try Doratus, I am enjoying the practice

Thank you Patrick, it is a lot less convenient to set up for shots now
but the outcome makes it worthwhile

    Thank you Elweshomayor
