    That's the annoying thing about coralline. The mere process of scraping it off your front glass is spreading spores around the tank.

    Here's a hint scrape the grass while your doing the water change, and syphon out the spores, bottle it up, and ship it to Gabe. ;D

    I actually moved my tank on Friday and scraped the side glass. It produced a dark purple bottle of saltwater. I'll post up some pics of it.

    I started using that Purple up stuff and added some coraline filled live rocks and its finnaly starting to grow on the glass. only have two 175watt Mh lights. will get more light around x-mas time not enough light I think.

    Actually, here's an interesting note.
    How old are your bulbs?

    Rumor has it that Coralline starts to bloom massively once your bulbs turn 8-9 months. So when it's supposed to be time to change them you hold on to them a little longer then you change'm once your coralline is all over.

    Can anybody confirm this?
