    What size tank is this?

You are better off having multiple smaller powerheads than one large one. IE, I have two koralia nano 425s, 2 tunze 6045s, 1 koralia 1400, 1 koralia 1050, and my return pump. If one pump goes out for some reason I don't have to worry about it as much as I would if I only had one powerhead. it is also better to have multiple flow sources for a more random flow.

If the coral still has color, flesh, or polyps then it is still alive.

What size tank is this? You will want to go with multiple smaller powerheads.

In general SPS love strong flow, but having a 5000GPH pump next to even strong flow loving sps will be a problem. They love strong random flow as in multiple points where water is hitting them.

its a 90 gallon, its too late to go for the small powerheads, im almost $250 invested to the ones i have to turn back now.

i am getthing the Hydor Koralia SmartWave controller for these to mimic some natural ocean movment tho, so that should help right?

It will help, but you will have dead spots.

nothing stoppin me from gettin a korilia 450 or 2 later on down the road to deal with that. the only dead spots i have rightn now are the areas that are completly shelterd by LR, which im planning on changing my aqua scape heresoon anyways

Sould i keep my sps corals on the bottome of the tank? did the light being to strong cause them to go white like this?

they just look bleached .. not dead place them down low in the tank and wait , bleaching commonly occurs due to light saturation ie too much light, as others have mentioned to you your light period needs to be corrected.

give them time ....lots of time and they may color back up again one day
