Coral Handling Opinion...?

    I don't wear protection when I handle my corals. However, I also don't have any corals that would die if they were touched. I have fragged zoas and palys as well and eaten right after. Hands still wet. I am just lazy tho.

    Nice!!! So what did they come on?frag plug,rock,nothing?I guess what i'm getting at is-did you have to touch them?:cheesy:

    Majority of them where on a small rock fragment/plug like thing, few of them just on a very small stone, Didnt use gloves, but was able for the most part to not touch any part of the coral. :) I did brush up against one, because the stone it was on was very small... Felt weird and actually gave me a tingle... :p Went away right away though...

    No allergic Reaction :)

    Well that's good,i have some zoas on top of a rock(there on a smaller peice of rock)and something keeps knocking them off,I pick them up without gloves all the time,but after reading this thread i may start using gloves!

    Nice new ricordia..

    on the topic of gloves, I will always wear them after a little incident of fragging zoas and palys where I got sick as a dog with vomiting, racing heart rate, and nausea for hours.. it was pretty bad.. so wear gloves..
